A Joke...

Well...
just now was our law class orientation night...
it was... hmmm...
all i can say that it was a total joke...
hehe...

first of all...
since last week we have all been told that it will start at 5pm...
then some said 5.30pm...
ok...
i went at 5.30pm... haha... malaysian time... aren't we proud of it...
what do you know... only a handful of people were there...
and we started at 6.45 pm...
erm...
i only waited like for 1 hour and 15 minutes...
not long... not long... HELLO!!!
so much time was like wasted...
then we started...
it was totally lame lah...
we had like a little ice breaker thingy where we got split into 7 - 8 groups...
we played a charade like game where you guessed the name of a classmate that is behind you... on a paper lah... or when you had to act out the person and your group had to guess the name...
it was quite ok... then came the drama... which was the latter...
my friend ken had his name guessed already when they - the mc - decided to reuse his name again...
and the girl... emily... she says that her name has 1 syllable... err... which part of emily do you see only 1 syllable...???
anyways... she described ken as gay... GAY... can you imagine in front of all the lecturers she said that when he is sooo not one... and her friends got it lah...
but wow... a friend of mine - adeline - she stood up and asked ken if emily discriminated him or not... or a similar word may have been used...
and she nearly demanded for a public apology right there and then from emily...
but mr lua and mr darmain... haha... calmed her down... by then we were all ready to stand up and walk off... my tutorial class lah mind you...
they told us to stay put while they talked to ken and emily... they also said that a public apology will be given by emily but not now as the department had to review it or something...
but i really admire adeline for standing up and doing what she did...
i dont think i could have done what she did...
err... maybe after a few moments of thinking...???
haha...
ahh... we were all super pissed off...
then halfway through the orientation thing...
a friend of emily - kelly - asked ken to have a little 'chit chat' with them...
and you know what they said...
they said that they were not sorry coz in the first place it was ken who first did not respect them... err... it happened while i was still on chinese new year break... but what happened was that apparently emily and her gang were making noise during lecture and so ken scolded them like in front of the whole class...
and so they have not been happy with him for like a really long time... because ken did not respect them...
erm... they did not even respect the rest of the class and the lecturer...
how do they expect others to respect them...???
but... err... i still could not get how scolding them would amount to being gay...???
and you know what ken did... he freaking apologised to them for scolding them but he also said that they deserved it lah...
haiyo... all of us were like 'what in the world...??? you apologised to them...???'
haiz.. i am speechless...
other things also happened... like eating and the slave auction...
where students and lecturers are auctioned off to raise money for the law society...
the 'slave' is to spend 3 hours with their master and do stuffs for them lah... but nothing illegal, immoral and indecent...
some were where friends supported one another by bidding in them... about rm 160 to rm 200 like that lah...
but there was a girl where people bidded for her until rm 200 over...
none of her friends bidded for her... if you all understand lah...
oh and emily and her 2 friends were also auctioned off...
the 3 combined i would think they did not exceed rm 400...
during their's... all were quiet... only their friends bidded for them...
haha...
3 lecturers were auctiond off and the highest was ms kathleen... rm 4oo...!!!
a lot leh......
my friend was quite intent on getting ms kathleen... but she got outbidded by a guy...
oh wells...

yup...
a total joke...
you may not find it amusing... but i did not put in lots of stuffs as i have no time...
hehe...
i am gonna sleep with a smile on my lips...
hahahahahahahahaha...
a huge joke...
